WINDOW WELL COVER INSTALLATION:

Adjustable Bubble Covers (Types A, B, C, D)

1. Fasten flat brackets to cover flange at holes provided, with slotted end of bracket pointing as shown.
2. Set cover in place against house wall and on top of the window well casing.
3. Mark proper location for bending brackets and then bend as indicated.
4. Drill 1/4" holes through window well casing at the desired locations
5. Remove bracket from cover.
6. Fasten bracket to window well casing.
7. Fasten cover to bracket.

Circular and Rectangular Bubble Covers (Types E, G, H, M)

1. Place cover over well, flanges flush against house.
2. Select length/type of anchor screws and washers needed, depending on mounting structures surface (wood, cement, etc.)
3. Drill two mounting holes along top flange; drill two more along each side as the drawing suggests. Make sure the size of the hole drilled is appropriate to the size of mounting hardware selected.
4. Mark, then drill holes in wall on house. Use a masonry drill bit and plastic or lead anchors when affixing the cover to brick or concrete walls.
5. Position cover and attach.

Low Profile Covers (Type K, L, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z)

1. Place window well cover over well. If it doesn't fir, the steel well may be bent out of shape or cover may be wrong size. If cover appears to be the wrong size, check other available sizes.
2. Center cover. Mark clip positions on cover with marker. Follow diagrams below for ideal placement.
3. Remove window well cover and drill a 3/16" hole at each marked location.
4. Mount clips to window well cover using bolts and cap nuts provided. IMPORTANT!! Put bolt through clip and washer with cap nut on top as shown.
5. Snap window well cover onto rim of window well. Adjust tension of clips by loosening or tightening cap nuts. Your window well cover is now removable for cleaning or ventilation.

Egress Covers (Types 4236EG, 5836EG)

1. Center cover. Mark clip positions on cover with marker. The ideal placement is to attach the clips, one in the center just to the right or left of center rib and two on each side, corner and rear of cover.
2. Remove window well cover and drill 3/16" hole at each marked location.
3. Mount clips to window well cover using bolts and cap nut provided.
4. Snap window well cover onto rim of window well. Adjust tension of clips by loosening or tightening cap nuts. Your window well cover is now removable for cleaning or ventilation.
